The mission of Olympic Health Management Systems, Inc. is to provide leadership necessary to solve complex issues facing the Medicare program and its beneficiaries. As the Medicare market continues to grow and change, Olympic will further its dedication towards being the unsurpassed Medicare expert. As such, it is our goal to help our clients reduce costs associated with the administration of retiree healthcare benefits. Olympic offers a broad platform of third party administrative services to insurers, brokers and employers.

Medicare is a complicated arena that requires skill and experience to navigate. Olympic Health Management Systems has played an important role in the Medicare industry since 1989. Your company can realize the benefits and efficiencies associated with our long history and expertise. We have fine-tuned the processes needed to provide accurate and fast service for you, your retirees and providers in a highly cost-effective manner.

Founded in 1989, with a focus on Medicare products, Olympic helped providers and hospitals grow their Medicare market share. In 1993 the professionals at Olympic took their knowledge one step further and entered the employer self-funded market. The creation of a proprietary database and claims processing system allowed Olympic to provide third party administrative services to its employer and insurer clients.

In order to further expand its culture of excellence, Olympic became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Aon Corporation in 1998. This alliance provided Olympic with resources that allowed for rapid expansion into new areas. It combined Olympic's unique experience in Medicare-related business, with Aon's reputation as a world leader in the insurance industry.

Always an innovator, in 1999 Olympic entered into a contract to provide administrative services for nation's first Medicare Advantage Private Fee-For-Service plan, further qualifying Olympic as a true leader in the TPA marketplace.

In 2008, Olympic and its sister company, Sterling Life Insurance Company were acquired by Munich Re Group. Munich Re is headquartered in Munich, Germany with offices around the world including its U.S. headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey. Munich Re Group is one of the world's largest reinsurers and the second largest primary insurer in Germany. Olympic clients will benefit from the wide range of capabilities within Munich Re.

Olympic administers the retiree healthcare benefits you offer. Olympic's experts can assist you in the development of a plan design that specifically meets your needs, or can administer established customized plan designs.
