Bora Architects New Studio Collaboration Systems

Portland-based architecture firm, Bora Architects, recently moved into new offices in inner SE Portland, and we were thrilled when they brought us in to design audio/video systems for the space.

Their new building has three larger conference rooms that are fully equipped for hybrid in-person and virtual meetings. They feature dual 65” 4K displays with Stem audio conferencing soundbars. Huddly conferencing cameras are mounted smartly at “eyeline” between the two displays to create natural viewing perspectives for Zoom participants.

In addition to the larger more formal conference rooms, there are several huddle rooms for smaller gatherings. These are equipped with a 55” 4K display and Bose video conferencing soundbar.

In addition to these fixed conferencing systems, there are multiple mobile video presentation carts with a 75” 4K display throughout the space. These mobile carts feature Barco Clickshares for wireless presentation capability.

The open office and common areas have a combination of QSC and Sonance speakers. These distributed speakers can be used for paging, sound masking, or even presentations thanks to integration with a wireless microphone system.
