At the center of this transformation is a massive, seamless Planar direct-view LED video wall. Known for industry-leading vibrant imagery and reliability, this display creates a breathtaking focal point for the resident lounge. To power the system, our technicians installed a centralized ColorLight rack-mount LED wall controller inside a dedicated equipment rack located safely out of sight in the AV closet. This ensures flawless processing and crisp image delivery across the entire display.
To maximize the system's utility for community events, we integrated an AVPro multi-viewer. This advanced processor allows the system to combine four separate video sources into a single composite image with multiple preset layouts—perfect for hosting resident watch parties where multiple big games or news channels can run simultaneously. We also balanced and integrated the high-definition audio back into the space's existing sound system for a fully immersive environment. Finally, to keep operation simple for leasing staff and community managers, we deployed an RTi networked infrared expander, allowing the property's existing touchscreen control system to effortlessly manage the entire video setup.
The result is a clean, robust, and highly versatile entertainment hub that elevates the building's amenity offerings. By centralizing the heavy hardware in a secure AV closet, we ensured the final presentation is completely clutter-free and safe from resident tampering.
