When Portland Business Alliance moved to Portland’s World Trade Center they had the opportunity to utilize a large combine-able training and conference space that overlooks Tom McCall waterfront Park, and they called on Ohm Systems to help them facilitate a simple, effective and budget-minded audio/video system.
The space not only has a beautiful view, but is large enough to accommodate two simultaneous events. Each room features a dedicated Epson ultra-short-throw projector paired with a dual-function whiteboard “screen”. Not only does it serve as a whiteboard, but its full, high-definition image is able to overcome the high ambient light present on sunny summer Portland mornings.
The room is easily combined using either of two Crestron touchscreen controllers, allowing a single video source to be displayed on both screens.
Finally, any video containing audio is played uniformly throughout the space according to its room configuration, via QSC recessed ceiling speakers.
